Twenty first century mum of two living in middle England and by that i mean that i live in the middle of England, not so very near to London and probably the furthest away from any coastline you can be. 

I would describe my life as being marooned on a male populated island.  A husband and two sons.  They agree, smile and placate but never really understand.

I love to write and find it declutters my mind. 

I like the truth.  When i feel that someone is not being honest with me, they've lost me for good.  I like asking questions and like to hear answers. 

I have a dog that we chose and a cat that just came to live with us one day.  Now,  I'm not sure if we are not her pets rather than the other way around but she has shifted the balance on the island a little way towards even.
